Inauguration of P2 Park in Phu My Hung City Center

On the afternoon of April 18, 2025, the Management Authority for the Southern Development Area (MASD) held a grand inauguration ceremony for P2 Park, a distinguished local project celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

P2 Park, located on Tran Van Tra Street, Tan Phong Ward, Phu My Hung, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, spans approximately 8 hectares and features a variety of facilities, including a community center with display space, management house, green park, children’s playground, pavilions, and scenic pond. It serves as a public recreational space, promoting community activities, wellness, and environmental sustainability.

After nearly two months of construction, P2 Park now offers a vibrant green space with multiple public amenities, meeting the outdoor leisure and entertainment needs of local residents. Its development aligns with urban planning standards, reflecting both government oversight and Phu My Hung Corporation’s commitment to community well-being.

During the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tai, Party Secretary and Head of the MASD, shared: “With the goal of enhancing quality of life and creating more green spaces within the city center, we selected P2 Park as a key project to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam. Today, the park is ready to serve the community, marking an important milestone in our journey toward sustainable urban development. We appreciate Phu My Hung Corporation’s partnership and encourage residents to help preserve this community space”.

The inauguration ceremony was lively and well-attended, featuring lion and dragon dance performances, folk games, flyboard show, photo display, musical entertainment, and LED kite flying. Beyond serving as a highlight of the commemorative events for national reunification, the occasion also encouraged local residents to participate in environmental conservation efforts, helping to maintain the park as a vibrant, clean, and beautiful urban destination.
